“Una libertà inattuale”

Archeometra is the main sponsor of “Una libertà inattuale” (An Inactual Freedom), the title of the monographic collection of photographic works by Francisco Florian Steiner from the years between 1956 and 1976.
The exhibition, curated by Carlo Bragagnolo of the PUK association of Castelfranco Veneto, is being held two years after the artist’s death in Asolo (Treviso) in 2022. Florian took up permanent residence here after an life of intense travel and human and professional experiences spanning the arts and continents: from cinema to literature, from Michelangelo Antonioni to Henry Miller, from Big Sur to Japan.
The project being inaugurated at the Galleria del Teatro Accademico in Castelfranco Veneto is divided among three exhibition venues, offering an initial perspective on the eclectic and eccentric figure of the artist-photographer Florian Steiner.
